Virus, Spyware & Malware Removal

Malicious virus, spyware or malware attacks on your desktop or laptop are the most common problems you will probably have with your computer.  Even with the best antivirus and malware software your computer can still get infected and probably will at some point.

At CCR Computer Services we are well aware of these facts and are here to help.  We will remove all viruses, trojans, worms, spyware, adware and malware from your computer using a variety of techniques and software.  In the worse case scenario the clients computer is so far gone that the only way to fix it is to reformat their hard drive to restore it to factory settings.  We backup their data to a flash drive, DVD, CD or our external hard drives.  We connect the infected hard drive to one of our computers as a slave drive which allows us to scan the hard drive more thoroughly since the operating system will not boot.  Only when we have scanned the hard drive at least 5 times will we reinstall it back in the computer to test if all the infections have been cleaned.

Scanning for viruses, spyware, malware, adware, etc is a very time consuming process.   Even using anti-virus software, spyware removal software and malware removal software available to us the process takes a long time.  If all available software doesn't remove all the infections we have to resort to removing the infections, which takes even longer because all the files, folders and registry entries have to be found, isolated and removed.

If all goes well we should have the computer healed and healthy in a matter of hours instead of days.  Unfortunately, we can not say the computer will be fixed in a certain amount of time or guarantee that your computer will be fixed by a certain day.  It would not be fair to us or you the client to set that kind of expectation.  CCR Computer Services makes every effort to fix all computers as quickly as possible and return them to the client.  So far we have done exactly that.
